Reiki Energy (Quality Training of Reiki)

<body> 'Reiki Energy' is an organisation that was founded primarily to provide 'quality' training in Reiki.  The organisation consists of just two people, Christiane and Willie, both of whom fervently believe in comprehensive Reiki training which turns out competent Reiki healers.  'Reiki Energy' courses include quite a lot of non-Reiki material to help the potential healer in their Reiki practice. <br><br> Reiki, itself, is a very gentle but extremely powerful complementary therapy that is similar to spiritual healing in many respects but there are differences.  Reiki was developed in Japan by Mikao Usui and is based on an energy model of the human body. <br><br> Reiki works on all levels — mental, physical, emotional and spiritual — to balance, energise and heal the body.  Research studies have shown it to promote wound healing, lower blood pressure, reduce stress, ease chronic pain and also acute pain such as that suffered by people who have been badly burned, boost the immune system, and also reduce the side-effects of medical treatments such as chemotherapy.  It has been used successfully at a Cancer Clinic in Canada to manage pain in patients with terminal cancer giving them a better quality of life in their last days and reducing the need for opiates.  There are also anecdotal reports of it curing serious illness. Basically, Reiki accelerates the healing process. <br><br> Reiki is taught via an attunement process; it is passed from Master to student and everyone attuned to Reiki can trace his lineage back to Mikao Usui ('Reiki Energy' prints the student's lineage on the certificate).  Reiki is made up from two workds: REI (spirutal force of the universe) and KI (life-energy) thus the word REIKI gives a simple definition of the therapy: a life-energy from the spiritual force of the universe. <br><br> Reiki is not a religion; neither is it faith healing.  It works no matter the beliefs of the therapist or recipient and works equally well on plants and animals.  The Reiki healer can use Reiki for his/her own benefit (self-healing) or for the benefit of others (healing).  Reiki can be learned in a few days but it is a gift for life. <br><br> All the Reiki courses take place over two days spaced about a month apart.  However, Reiki-3 (Master Level) students, can have a third day (optional) in order to further practice attunements and to clear up any issues that they may have.  Two weeks prior to course commencement, students receive the relevant course manual enabling them to learn the theory beforehand; this allows Christiane and Willie to focus on the practical aspects of Reiki during the course (attunements, empowerments, healing practice and discussion).  On each course, the student receives two sets of attunements (one from Christiane and one from Willie) thus students are effectively attuned twice by different Masters.  Each course also includes extra non-Reiki material to help the student with their healing practice (e.g. listening skills, physical and energy bodies, stress management, etc.).  The details of each course are as below. <br><br> <a href="about.htm">Reiki Energy</a><br> <a href="contact.htm">Contact Us</a><br> <a href="courses.htm">The Courses</a><br> <a href="dates.htm">Course Dates</a><br> <a href="links.htm">Links</a><br> <a href="myevents.htm">Events</a><br> <a href="menu.htm">Menu</a><br> <a href="reiki.htm">Reiki</a><br> </body>
