'Reiki Energy' was founded in 2003 by Christiane and Willie to provide 'quality' training in Reiki and produce competent healers.  'Reiki Energy' is based in the UK and the vast majority of the Training is done in Colchester (Essex). Occasionally, courses are held in Bury St Edmunds (Suffolk) or Thetford (Norfolk).

Christiane has been practicing Reiki and Spiritual Healing for more than 12 years; she currently practices at the Trinity Centre in Colchester where she also runs a support group for Reiki and Spiritual Healers.  Christiane believes that 'complementary medicine' should be for everyone, not just those that can afford it; and, in keeping with this belief, she runs a Healing Drop-in for the Trinity Centre, on a donation-basis, on Monday afternoons.  She is a Reiki Master and a registered Spiritual Healer; and is a teacher of both Reiki and Spiritual Healing.

Like Christiane, Willie has also been a Spiritual Healer and Reiki Practitioner for more than 12 years; and is also a teacher of both Reiki and Spiritual Healing.  Like Christiane, he believes that 'complementary medicine' should be for everyone and, to this end, he runs a voluntary group providing complementary therapies in the community, on a donation basis, for those that cannot afford the normal prices.

Both Christiane and Willie fervently believe in a very high standard of training thus the 'Reiki Energy' standard is high and by the end of a 'Reiki Energy' course, the trainee healer will have the expertise, knowledge and confidence to practice on family and friends; practice professionally; or teach as appropriate.

'Reiki Energy' is, however, much more than a Training organisation; it provides ongoing support for its healers in the form of monthly 'Reiki Development Evenings' where healers can discuss ideas, practice different techniques and have their questions answered.  This website is online support where our healers have access to resources such as certificates, manuals, research or just to have questions answered via email.  'Reiki Energy' is a family of Reiki Healers.
